As part of his ongoing efforts to help Indiana County workers, Rep. Dave Reed (R-62) is inviting them to join him on Thursday, April 15, for a job fair at S&T Bank Arena. 

“This is an opportunity to bring together hard-working folks who need jobs with the employers that can provide them,” Reed said.  “Unfortunately, Indiana County has not been immune to the international economic recession.  We have families that are struggling, just like everywhere else.  We want to put Indiana County residents back to work – one job at a time if necessary.  The people in our region are willing to put in an honest day’s work in return for a good wage.  This job fair is about bringing these folks together with the employers that could benefit from their strong work ethic, knowledge and experience.” 

The job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at S&T Bank Arena at the White Township Recreation Complex, 497 East Pike Road in Indiana. 

Reed is sponsoring the event along with Sen. Don White (R-41), Rep. Sam Smith (R-66), the Indiana County commissioners, the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce and PA CareerLink of Indiana County.
